What we assumed
- 2026 Ordinary Wage ceiling: CPF on first S$8,000/month only (final step of the phased increase; annual ceiling S$102,000).
- CPF rates by age (≤55 shown): you pay 20%, employer pays 17% on top. From 1 Jan 2026, senior rates rose: 55–60 pays 18%, 60–65 pays 12.5%.
- Income tax is not withheld — IRAS assesses you once a year and you pay directly (lump sum or GIRO). The “monthly” figure we show is just the bill ÷12 for saving purposes, not a payslip deduction.
- SDL is employer-paid — never on your payslip, never leaves your pay.
- Tax estimate: resident rates, earned income relief S$1,000. Other reliefs (parents, donations, CPF top-ups) not included — your real bill is likely lower.
- Self-help group fund contributions (CDAC/MBMF/SINDA/ECF — small fixed amounts, roughly S$0.50–S$6.50/mo depending on community and wage band) are deducted from your pay if you didn't opt out. Excluded here.
